Who is Avril Lavigne?  She is the one of the most popular singers coming out of Canada's Napanee, Ontario.  Born September 27 1984 she is one of the youngest singer-songwriters curently playing professionally out of Canada's Napanee, Ontario.

She is created with songs like Let Go and Sk8r Boi and Complicated.  All smash singles.

Let Go earned Lavigne eight Grammy nods and it has sold more than 16 million copies worldwide. Her 2004 sophomore effort, Under My Skin, debuted at #1 around the world, as did her much anticipated third album, Best Damn Thing.

In the acting world Lavigne is also making a name for herself, with a recent role in the Richard Linklater-directed "Fast Food Nation" and voice over work in the smash animated hit "Over the Hedge".
