Although, she is one of the most influential Pop stars on the singing circuit today she is still very underestimated.  Pink's music has touched a many souls and brought people to their knees listing to the lyrics that she preaches.

Although she was initially viewed as yet another face in the late-'90s crowd of teen pop acts, Pink quickly showed signs of becoming one of the rare artists to transcend and outgrow the label.

Pink was born as Alecia Moore on the bright day of  September 8, 1979, in Doylestown, PA (near Philadelphia), Pink received her nickname as a child.  Although, many would think that the name is due to her pink hair, it is not so.  She grew up in a family that loved and who also put in time with music.  With a family is music by age 13 she was a regular on the Philadelphia club scene, first as a dancer, then as a backing vocalist for the local hip-hop group Schools of Thought. At 14, she began writing her own songs; the same year, a local DJ at Club Fever began allowing her on-stage to sing a song every Friday.

If you have not seen a pink concert, then you don't know what a great concert looks like.  Her concerts are jaw dropping with antics and a extraordinary stage show.
