There are a few thing that can certainly be done. One thing to do is sign up to artists mailing list or fan club. By joining the musicians fan club, you not only get emails announcing their upcoming concerts our tour, but many also give their members a chance to get tickets before the general public. They do this by sending out presale passwords and having companies like Ticketmaster sell tickets the advertised on-sale dates. Only members with presale passwords will be able to purchase tickets in advance. If there is a band or musician which you must attend every concert they have in your area, then joining their fan club is a good idea. Not all fan club members will be able to get tickets though, as there may be more members than the actual amount of tickets they are releasing.

Another way to get concert tickets is just by trying to buy them when they go on-sale to the general public. The one thing you need to know here is that you have to buy them the minute they go on sale. The way to do this is to find out the time they are going to go on sale and in what time zone. You should load up your browser up to the website selling the tickets several minutes before the release time. Navigate to the page where you select the number of tickets. Before you start the search, make sure you wait right until the on-sale time. If you are able to find seats you may purchase them or release them and search again. Remember that a lot of other people will be searching the same way and releasing tickets back if they are not satisfied with the seat selection.

If you know that the concert will sell out, you should buy your concert tickets if they are in a good location. A lot of times, people think that they can get pit tickets or tickets in the first row and will release perfectly good seat selections in hopes that they can get better seats.
